Does Dropfinder edit the full video for me?
Dropfinder prepares your editing base: detected drops, markers, camera switches and zooms. You keep creative control and can change the generated timeline in your editor. Think of it as a head start, with every creative decision still yours.
Which editing software does it support?
The core workflow starts with a Premiere Pro XML. The site also supports XML workflows for DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro through compatible XML formats or conversion. Start with the free trial to check your own project before buying.
Does it sync cameras?
Dropfinder includes a synchronization step in its multicam workflow. The result depends on your source media and project setup, so review your synchronization and the generated timeline before the final edit.
How does drop detection work?
Dropfinder analyzes your set’s audio on your Mac and identifies important moments. You can review the detected drops, adjust the selection and change the settings before exporting.
Is my footage uploaded? Can I work offline?
Audio analysis and timeline preparation run locally on your Mac. Your footage does not need to be uploaded. Downloading the app, purchasing access and checking for updates require an internet connection; the editing analysis itself is local.
Can I change the generated edit?
Yes. Adjust the active cameras, cut rhythm and zoom settings in Dropfinder, then refine the exported XML in your editing software. The output is an editable starting point.
What’s included in the free trial?
